Azovstal Factory Ukrainian Drawing
NON PROFIT SALE - Azovstal Factory
Zachar is a young and very talented artist from Mariupol. He and his family are internally displaced refugees, as there is nothing left of their home city. They now live in western Ukraine near Lviv. Zachar, his parents, brother, uncle and grandparents were lucky to escape Mariupol during Russian occupation in February 2022. Zachar was only 10 years of age when the war started. The escape from Mariupol was nerve-wracking for everyone. The family had to pass through numerous Russian checkpoints, praying all the time that they will all survive. They witnessed horrific scenes along the way. They lost everything, their home, their land, all their possessions and pets. They will never be able to go back to their home city Mariupol. Their house has been demolished.
Zachar is a very resilient young boy who helps with all house chores, including gardening. He diligently studies English and his dream is to come to Australia to study medicine. Zachar likes to draw in his free time. This helps him to cope mentally.
If you like Zachar’s painting and would like to support him and his family, they would be very grateful. This is a non-profit sale and all money is sent directly to Zachar’s family via Western Union transfer.
Thank you for your support.
